Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 February 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Zyph ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our platform ("Service").

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to site operators.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or filling in forms.

CookiePurposeDuration

zyph_pw_*Stores a verification token after entering a password for a protected link. Allows access without re-entering the password.24 hours

2.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages.

StoragePurposeType
zyph-themeStores your preferred colour theme (light, dark, or system). Prevents a flash of incorrect theme on page load.localStorage
zyph_workspace_idRemembers your last active workspace so it loads automatically on your next visit.localStorage
zyph_cookie_consentRecords whether you have acknowledged the cookie consent notice.localStorage

2.3 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may set their own cookies:

  • Cloudflare: Provides our CDN and edge network. May set performance and security cookies (e.g., __cf_bm) to distinguish between humans and bots. See Cloudflare's Cookie Policy.
  • Sentry: Used for error tracking and monitoring. Processes error data server-side and does not set cookies in your browser.

3. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage to persist preferences and session data. Local storage operates similarly to cookies but is only accessible by our client-side code and is not sent with HTTP requests.

4. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are set
  • Delete individual or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific or all websites
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Accept or reject cookies when they are set

Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly (e.g., you will not be able to stay logged in).

To manage local storage, you can use your browser's developer tools (typically accessible via F12 > Application > Local Storage).

5. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of this signal. However, we minimise tracking by design: we hash IP addresses, do not use advertising cookies, and provide configurable data retention.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

7. Contact
